Music has been the predominant theme in Patrick's life. During his formative years, he picked up multiple musical talents, including playing alto saxophone, piano, guitar, and singing. Patrick attended Princess Anne High School (PAHS) for the International Baccalaureate (IB) program from 2004-2008. He chose IB Music as his elective, further enriching his knowledge of both Western and non-Western musical traditions under Mary Hughes. Patrick also was a member of the Fabulous Marching Cavaliers (FMC), a Virginia Honor Band and Top 10 Tour of Bands participant directed by John Boyd. Upon his graduation from PAHS, Patrick matriculated at Berklee College of Music in Boston from 2008-2012. It is at Berklee that Patrick developed his diverse musical skills and honed them into a mature force. Patrick earned the opportunity to work with such musical leaders as Tommy Loyola, Karen Hoy, Jeanie Gagne, G. Andrew Maness, and Lauren Passarelli. Patrick also attended workshops led by various musical giants, including John Mayer on several occasions. Majoring in songwriting, he graduated May 2012 with a 3.6 GPA. After earning his degree, Patrick moved to Virginia Beach to pursue his career in music. He currently teaches private lessons, performs, records, and works at Courthouse Community United Methodist Church as a Youth Musical Leader. He focuses on contributing to his local community and developing young musicians. In the future, Patrick would like to continue his dream of doing what he loves - music.
